Refunds & Withdrawal

1. Our role

CollectorsStashMarket provides a platform on which private individuals and traders sell physical cards to each other. We are not a seller and not a party to the sales contract. The contract is concluded directly between buyer and seller.

2. Private individual or trader?

Different consumer-protection rules apply depending on the seller's status:

Seller type	Legal regime
Private individual (occasional sale from own collection)	Standard Dutch civil law (Book 7). Consumer-sale protections, including the 14-day right of withdrawal, do not automatically apply.
Trader (business or regular activity)	EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU applies, including the 14-day right of withdrawal after delivery.

Sellers are required to clearly state in their listing whether they sell as a private individual or as a trader (see Terms of Service §6).

3. Right of withdrawal (traders only)

If you buy from a trader, you have 14 days after delivery to withdraw without giving a reason. The trader must provide a model withdrawal form with the order. Return shipping costs are at your expense unless the trader states otherwise.

The right of withdrawal is excluded for sealed products whose seal has been broken (e.g., booster packs) — see Article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code.

4. Complaints and disputes

1. First contact the seller via the messaging function in the app or website.
2. If no resolution is reached, file a report via the Report button on the listing or email abuse@collectorstashmarket.com.
3. For purchases from a trader, you may also use the European ODR platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

5. Payments

We do not provide escrow or payment processing. Payments take place directly between buyer and seller. We recommend using secure payment methods that offer buyer protection.
